Happy New Year!
Doesn’t it feel so good to say goodbye to 2020..
Although the world is not out of the COVID woods yet, a new year brings fresh perspectives and things to look forward to.
The way to make the most of the New Year is by not letting yourself do the same things.
Adopt new habits, learn new things and I’m sure you’ll become happier in 2021.
Now, do not feel pressured to change your whole life overnight as this is just NOT attainable.
Good things come to those who wait, so, I advise you to make small changes at your own pace as well as trying to learn the art of patience.
Below are a few tips sure to help you on your self love journey:
WATER , WATER, WATER !!!
Hydration is key to maintaining our overall well-being. If you don’t already drink a minimum of 2 litres of water a day, get doing it. However, be sure not to exceed more than a litre per hour hour or you’ll be running for the loo every 5 seconds.
The benefits of drinking more water include improved skin, energises the muscles, eliminates toxins in the body and aid in weight loss.
Get moving more!
Incorporating even a small amount of excersize into your daily routine will boost your positivity and overall health (mental and physical).
Some fun ways of doing this include cycling, jump-roping and jogging.
Even going pro-longed scenic walks with the dog will help you get your body moving more!
DO MORE OF WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY
Most importantly, making time for the things you enjoy is so important as this will ultimately help you become your best self. Have a think about what things in life you enjoy most and start doing this more.
